Retirement Visa

     To be eligible for a Retirement Visa, you must be 50 years of age, show funds that equate to 800,000 baht, or 65,000 baht per month in pension (note: any pension claims MUST be certified by your embassy to be applicable), or a combination of both. You must also provide a valid health certificate, which can be obtained from any Thailand hospital or clinic.

Basic Requirements:

• 50 years of age, or older

• 800,000 baht in a Thai bank account (90 days), or

• 65,000 baht in pension, or a combination of both.

Type:

Retirement Visa-

Each time, permission shall be granted for a period not exceeding one year.

Criteria:

     (1) Foreigner shall obtain VISA for temporary stay  

     (2) Shall not be younger than 50 years old

     (3) Have evidence showing their monthly income is not less than 65,000 baht

     (4) Produce records of money saved in the last 3 months in an account book of a bank in Thailand, of not less than 800,000 baht, or

     (5) Having annual income, combined with the savings money in the bank, of not less than 800,000 baht, for 90 days, minimum, from the date of submitting the application.

2. Copy of Passport of the applicant
3. Evidences of having income, such as pension, or Savings Account, or Dividends, etc., and/or,
4. Certified letter of having a bank account with a bank in Thailand and the passbook of the account.
